Camp Granada

The mission of Camp Granada is to provide the highest quality summer music day-camp experience in a child-centered environment that encourages participation, stimulates creativity, and focuses on fun. We do not strive to turn young children into Beethovens or Mozarts. It is simply our desire to increase each child’s awareness and enjoyment of music, and to instill in each child a desire to continue musical involvement for a lifetime.

Camp Granada has been offered at Austin Peay State University since 2012. Mrs. Kortney Ross, owner of Forte Forest, became involved with camp as an undergraduate student and, after graduation, was the first to bring Camp Granada into Tennessee public schools in 2014.  Since then, it has grown to be offered in many public schools in Tennessee and Kentucky.  Mrs. Ross is excited to now bring this exciting, unique camp experience to home school, public, and private school students in East TN.

Camp Granada will be offered at The Grove Theater in Oak Ridge, TN, July 22-26, 2019, from 9am-2pm each day.
